Product Description:

With Mac OS X you have a beautiful world at your fingers and it can be even more wonderful. Mac OS X comes with a powerfull toy, the Terminal, but the Terminal sometimes is confusing, hard to understand, ugly and you just might feel that it's not worth the trouble trying to use it. On the other hand you just might be a poweruser obeying the new and wonderful world of the Terminal, but still, admit it, like most Mac users tends to think it would be nice to have a litte gui.

This is what Term's Litte Helper does, it gives you absolute access to many of the Terminals features without the typing.

Term's Little helper gives you the power of the Terminal to access information about disks, network, processes, logs, system and more like the fine feature that translates to obscure BSD error messages into clear understandable text.

So feel free to download the trial-version and enjoy the power of the Terminal as a Mac user would do it.

Term's Little Helper CommentaryYour old serial is still valid - Version: 1.3.0, 12/1/2003 07:41AM PST

fltman--2008
Old users may of course download the latest version of Term's Little Helper without having to buy the new version. We had some piracy problems but we have renewed our routines so you may now download new full versions using your old serials.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Term's Little Helper ReviewIt's all good but... - Version: 1.1.0, 9/22/2003 04:26AM PST

If you already use the terminal and can't remember or type that fast then this is kinda cool... But, if you have never used the terminal I don't think that this app will bring you closer to understanding the true benifits of using a CLI. Furthermore, I don't think that there will be a review by someone praising the app in a way that suggests that because of it they are in love with the terminal.

"Why does master Mematron speak of such things? You know what you doing?!"
Look at it this way, because it's just a GUI all you get is a shortcut to various commands. Believe me...The info that's printed by Term\\\'s Little Helper is the exact same **CENSORED** you'll see if it was executed in the terminal.

A better example of something that turns something abstract to normal users and turns it into something easy and intuitive is, say...take any 3D application...

Yeah, you can actually do all the mathematics, algorithms, and coordinates creation to generate a CG model, but how fun would that be? It's quite likely most of us lack the mental acumen to pull it off.

But the best example of a command line gui is what else?.. OS X...

If you are afraid of the command line don't be...unless you are root, ya can't trash your system by using it.

Get used to it kids the CLI (Command Line Interface) is here to stay.
