Best Quality batching with iDVD5? - Version: 0.2.1, 2/2/2005 03:30PM PST

Will there be a new version of ayeDVD Batcher now that iDVD5 has been released? Since the quality of iDVD3 is so poor, I have been redoing everything with iDVD4. Unfortunately, iDVD4 can't be run in batch when you select Best Quality. Since iDVD5 provides the option to write to a disk image, is it suitable for batching?
Burning not supported from AppleScript - Version: 0.2.1, 1/1/2004 10:08PM PST

The AppleScript dictionary for iDVD does not support a burn command. If it did, I would have likely implemented a first project auto-burn feature. The only things supported are project file commands (creation, opening, and saving) and layout commands (e.g. title positioning).
suggestion for a new feature - Version: 0.2.1, 12/2/2003 08:10AM PST

First, I want to say that ayeDVD Batcher is a wonderful piece of software. I'm converting old sports video tapes to DVD, and ayeDVD Batcher saves me countless hours by allowing me to set up large batch jobs overnight (several games at a time).
I have a suggestion for a new feature. The idea would be to have ayeDVD Batcher burn one DVD at the end of the batch job. When I get up in the morning to start processing DVD's, this would save me 30 to 40 minutes because the first DVD would be done.

iDVD with loaded project in the Dock - Version: 0.2, 7/29/2003 08:22PM PST

There is a bug where the check for iDVD with a loaded project fails if the main iDVD window is minimized in the Dock. The result is that ayeDVD Batcher will never get past that point to start the batch encoding. To get around the problem, just un-minimize the window. I have identified a fix and will post a bug fix release shortly.
