Blurred Graphics

I have never been able to get behind this screensaver because the graphics are blurred. They've been this way since the earliest version & have not improved one bit. The sound effects are great and the intent is great. But I just can't deal with the out of focus fireworks. What's with the blurred graphics. Do you guys need glasses or what?

Why Not
G5 1.8 3GB ram, Cinema 22, 20 Second monitor. Only app running. Crashes each time it loads with more than 4 modules. Not sure as to the cause.

Finally in current version 2.3.1 (though the version number showed here is 2.3, it was kind of a silent update) adds the ability to wake the screensaver while it's still loading!!!
This is a huge improvement, and fixes the sole problem that has kept me from using this as my screensaver!!!
I still think this is the best fireworks screen aver out there. I'm someone who loves fireworks, and having seen most of what is avalible, none of the others look anywhere as nice as this screensaver uses.
Take it from me, I'm both a TNT Fireworks Club Member, and have a Phantom Fireworks Preferred Card!!! :D

I've always wanted a good successor to Fireworks, and I hope this can be it, because the [limited] graphics are nice. Would like to be able to see other possibilities first. Landscapes? Skies? But like other posters, it crashed System Preferences and changed screen resolutions. So, until those issues get fixed, this will be a tough sell.

This software caused system prefs to crash three times, and changed screen setting without returning them to normal. All in all pretty poor for a few couloured showers. And you want monmey for this?

The fireworks look great. You could compare this to After Dark's original fireworks, to show how computers have been bettered.
Just one thing though. Having a brushed metal sheet come down in System Preferences looks really weird. I'd change that back to Aqua.

I registered this while waiting anxously for version 2 of the screen saver... After emaling the author I found out that I had done too much waiting and not enough checking... v2 had been out for a while...
I really like the new engine... While it's not perfect, its deffinatly much nicer than the prevous... Load times are a little annoying, and having no independant volume is annoying as well...
However, being someone who overly loves fireworks, I love this screen saver!!!
