This app is an extremely under-featured utility that does nothing useful. There is however ANOTHER KTunes thats not listed on VT. The site is in Japanese (The App has been translated to English) but its one of the most fully featured Itunes Controllers anywhere! Ive looked at everything from Synergy to You Control: Tunes, and no program seemed to do what I wanted (Barquee came REALLY close, except the fact that it doesnt work ;)) The link to the site is "http://homepage.mac.com/kenta6/kTunes/" (You can translate the site in google) and the direct download link is "http://homepage.mac.com/kenta6/kTunes/kTunes-1.4.3.zip"

It's not needed anymore to search for iTunes over your dock or desktop, with Ktunes, you can play, pause, go next or previous directly from the menu bar!

Just for clarification, this iTunes helper app is simple but elegant. I'd bet the author has no desire to make it heavy featured like Synergy.

Clicking on the icon in the menubar shows "Current Track - Album - Artist", allows selection of "Next" and "Previous" tracks, and also has "Play - Launch iTunes" and "Pause" options. Two "Quit" options are provided, so you can quit out of iTunes or KTunes.

I would suggest adding (four?) previously played tracks, but really no more.
