Product Description:
OnyX allows you to run misc tasks of system maintenance, to configure certain hidden parameters of the Finder, Dock, Safari, Dashboard, Expose, Disk Utility... to delete cache, to remove a certain number of files and folders that may become cumbersome, to see the detailed info of your configuration, to preview the different logs and CrashReporter reports, and more.

- The GarageBand Caches are not deleted anymore while deleting the applications caches
- Uninstaller improved
- System Optimization simplified in the Automation panel
- Setting "Speed of display of the Web pages" removed (obsolete)
- The LaunchServices database can be updated or reinitialized (Maintenance panel)
- Verifications executed before the request for password
- Bug corrected: Error AppleScript -1728 after maintenance from the Automation panel
- Bug corrected: Number of recent items in the File menu of QuickTime Player
- Bug corrected: The window position is correctly saved in all situation

As noted in "Additional Requirements", this version is for Snow Leopard only. It doesn't run in 10.5

I have been using Onyx through all versions. This one I finds works as well as all the past updates. It installed by drag and drop and performed perfectly. Thanks for all the work you've done on this Application, I wouldn't be without it.
