Product Description:
OnyX is a multifunction utility for Mac OS X. It allows you to verify the Startup Disk and the structure of its System files, to run misc tasks of system maintenance, to configure the hidden parameters of the Finder, Dock and of some of Apple's own applications, to delete caches, to remove a certain number of files and folders that may become cumbersome and more.
What's new in this version:
- Recent Items in the Apple menu correctly deleted
- New replacement icon (SnowX)
- New Visibility tab in Utilities panel (Show/Hide volumes, folders and files)
- Re-enable the Zoom Text Only option in Safari
- Deleting cookies improved
- Deleting logs improved
- Merge temporary items and recent items in the Automation panel
- Help updated and reindexed

Can anyone tell me why after verifying disk and permissions, onyx won't allow me to input my password. It tells me it is incorrect and I know for sure it is correct. I am running Snow Leopard with all current updates installed on MacBook Pro. Start up disk was repaired through Snow Leopard disk earlier than install of onyx

As noted in "Additional Requirements", this version is for Snow Leopard only. It doesn't run in 10.5
