Start from one of 80+ supplied templates, or create your own encoding settings from scratch. Group your settings together. Drop a group of multiple encoding settings onto multiple content files, and watch as Compression Master produces the requested output media for all settings and all content files in one swift operation.

Downloaded this software and the same problem as compressionmaster if you drag a avi divx xvid into the job batch to convert it wont work. I expect from a $800 software to encode basic formats. $20 shareware apps can handle them.

This is the only Mac app - as far as I know - that supports aacPlus v2.
Unfortunately this creates terrible stuttering files that are totally unusable (on PPC at least). Otherwise a great piece of software.

This product is not for you. Although the product seems to perform and does offer you a variety of compression parameters the compressed result might not work in your application. I have compressed a QT from FCP to mpeg2 and tried to import it in DVD studio pro v.4.1, you get an error message INTERNAL MUXER ERROR and your built is canceled.
Try to get information on their website about this kind of problem and you will be in for a surprise.Nobody wants to know out there that your 500$ software is useless.
