A deceptively simple game -- you learn it in no time (esp if you're familiar with Axis & Allies) but the possibilities are endless. Our group is on team game #6 (I think?) with a different outcome every time, and now we're also playing a free-for-all game full of misdirection, shifiting alliances and intrigue. I'd never managed to get into a PBEM before, but this one has me hooked.
Solace - a fantastic game

This game is great fun. However, once you bore of the AI the game really comes into it's own when you play via email. I have been playing two games with 6 people from different countries for 6 months now and each day I still look forward to my move.
The fun is sending email to your team members to put together some killer strategy.
Download this game you will love it.

Some bugs still. It can freeze up in mid move sometimes and quite frequently it will crash if you minimise it whilst it is making a move. To avoid this it would be nice if you could switch back to the Desktop normally.
Wishlist: faster moves and more maps. I think I have pretty much exhausted this map.
