i love this app. i had some mods i would have to play through munchies (an old mac game that used mods as their background music) but it didnt work with osx so i was kinda stuck, and i wanted to listen to the music from shadow wraith (another old mac game) and when i realized they were mods i had to find a player. this was the easiest mod player i found. very simple, straightforward gui. i love it! one thing i wish was that there were better controlls (arrow keys for back and forward instead of cmd + or -) but it's not bad. it does what it says and does it well. played all my mods without problems. i have been looking for years for a mod player, and i tried one through the command line but it was difficult to understand so i went with this one and i am thrilled. quite stable.

I just had occasion to play a .MOD file, and MacModPlay came to the rescue. It can't convert .MODs to other formats, but it does a fine job of just playing them. Thanks!
