Product Description:

*** Are you new to databases? iList Data 3 (lakewoodstudios.com) supports nearly all of the single-user features of iList Studio and is designed for personal use at home, school, and work. ***

Introducing iList Studio 3, by far the most powerful, low cost, multi-user database software for the Macintosh.

Powered by MySQL, iList Studio is built on the same engine that powers iList Data, our personal database software. iList Studio supports all of the single-user features of iList Data, but also creates and administers MySQL databases, making it ideal for collaborative research, workgroups, and web development.

Quickly build multimedia catalogs, scheduling databases, and other multi-user relational solutions. Build databases for personal use on your home computer, for corporate networks, or sharing over the Web.

iList Studio offers the following features:

  • compatible with MySQL 4.x and 5.x.
  • support for every MySQL field type plus six new "meta" field types: boolean, path, URL, color, JPEG, and calculation
  • multi-user support complete with password protection and table, field, and interface level privileges
  • single-user support: Create iList Data compatible databases that don't rely on MySQL
  • user designed windows for creating, editing, and finding data
  • user friendly interface controls including date and time fields, color swatches, and image canvases
  • built-in relational support for searching and displaying data across tables
  • on-the-fly calculations and column summaries
  • ten find modes including find on field, find by value, and find parent
  • enhanced SQL editing for experienced users and built-in help by example support for novices
  • search history and bookmarks
  • four batch editing modes including multi edit and auto number
  • inline editing and pop-up editing of fields via keyword lists
  • inline and summary graphing. View dot, line, bar, and fill graphs alongside your data
  • nine window sets: Save and recall custom interface setups with one click
  • a built in resizable image viewer, full screen slideshow mode, and thumbnail palette

iList Studio ReviewEasy to use - Version: 3.2.1, 5/8/2007 08:05AM PST

i have been really impressed with how easy it is to set up datebase from scratch, then later go back and modify, add and delete fields. It's also easy to get data out of iList, especially to Excel and Word. I wish there was a way to create sub-columns for calculating data in other columns. I'm using iList as a home inventory and to track eBay sales. The documentation is very thorough, too. Very good.

i have iList Data 3.2 installed on my macBook. VT Pro finds it and lists it as such, but when i DL i get iListStudio.dmg.bin which is also a product from the vendor, but it is NOT what i have installed.

i will do a manual update to dodge the problem, but there is a flaw in your version DB
