I screwed my 15 gig iPod up earlier today by unplugging it while it was mounted. The files were okay, but the actual iPod interface got ruined. Pod 2 Pod worked perfectly to back up my music while I backed up my data files on it. I used the iPod Software Updater to reformat, then Pod 2 Pod restored everything flawlessly. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Easy way to test that "Not a valid iPod" error - Version: 1.0, 6/17/2003 02:02PM PST

Launch Pod 2 Pod and use the "Tools" menu to create 2 test iPods on your desktop. Drag one of the 2 of those into Pod 2 Pod--do you still get the error? Let us know at staff@ifthensoft.com so we can work it out.

These guys make great stuff, but this one I'm not so sure...Keep getting a "This does not appear to be a valid iPod" message with my new 15GB iPod.
