I have used SnapNDrag for several years and to my mind it is the epitome of a software program. It is:
1) Reliable
2) Inexpensive
3) Easy (and might I say, a pleasure) to use, and versatile
4) Well supported
5) Indispensable

I have used Yellowmug software for years since they started. I use all their products and freeware. The software works well with excellent support. Their freeware Tapdex (simple address book access) is a must have, it is the simplest easy access of address book ever made (I have tried many).

ZentorExpect latest enhancements to be working as well as previous product which
I have been using for a long time. Does what it promises and is extremely
useful to send or file snapshots. Keep up the excellent work and thank you
to the developer for a job well done!

Right after I upgraded to OS X Tiger, SnapNDrag Pro started failing on every capture (selection, window, screen... you name it). An error message pops up every time that says "Screen capture exited with status 5". I reported this to the developer, who said that other people were having the same problem, but the developer was unable to reproduce it. This version continues that tradition...
So a little utility that was INDISPENSIBLE before Tiger has become USELESS to me now... I am well and truly bummed... if anyone can help figure out what's causing the problem, I would be thrilled: I want my SND... back. :-)

Just noticed the (new?) feature that gives you the height and width of the area you have highlighted in pixels. I can't tell you how helpful that one feature is to me! Add that to the border feature and I'm in love.
I have the Pro version of SnapNDrag along with several of their other utilities. Do yourself a favor and check them out. Great stuff, every one!!

Not only is SnapNDrag a great little app, but the developer has been very responsive regarding adding new features. I requested the latest feature, about having SnapNDrag "remember the current border setting across restarts" less than three weeks ago, and now it has already been implemented. As of this version, setting the border width becomes a default ... just set it once, and forget about ever having to do it again!
