contacts Reviewgreat support! - Version: 1.1, 10/11/2004 04:47PM PST

MonJab
A big thank you to Shane for his efforts on this project!
I suggested a feature for version 1.2 (include prefix and suffix fields) but Shane emailed me the next day with the features already added!
Saved us about 20 hours of processing!

Thanx again,
Raoul.

contacts Commentary/usr/bin ?? - Version: 1.1, 4/23/2004 03:38PM PST

sjk
Installation of third party software in /usr/bin isn't recommended. /usr/local/bin was a better choice.

contacts Troubleshooting ReportBroken in Jaguar? - Version: 1.1, 4/23/2004 11:17AM PST

StarvArt

contacts 1.0 worked splendidly, but now 1.1 appears broken in Jaguar:

*** -[ABAddressBook defaultNameOrdering]: selector not recognized
*** Uncaught exception: *** -[ABAddressBook defaultNameOrdering]: selector not recognized

The source won't compile, as it requires the xcodebuild dev util; ProjectBuilder chokes on the contacts.pbproj, as it was created with a later version of ProjectBuilder. I usually avoid complaining, but for such a nice and useful little freebie, an extra line warning Jaguar stragglers (like me) would be nice somewhere in the docs and/or here at VT.

Of course, I'm also open to the notion that I screwed this up myself somehow...suggestions welcomed.
