Trying teamviewer out for the first time - Version: 4.0.6283, 6/25/2009 06:07PM PST

Just downloaded teamviewer 4.0.6 and am trying it out for the first time. It is a bit 'crashy'.
It unexpectedly quit a few times when I was trying to do a file transfer, and just now quit unexpectedly when I went to quit the program.
But it does work pretty well for the most part. But I do love Timbuktu a million times more since it feels more 'Mac like' and not like a PC program ported to the Mac.

I have used TeamViewer fairly regularly since its first public appearance on the Mac as a means of remotely helping friends with troubleshooting over the internet. There are other products available that do similar jobs but I have found TeamViewer to be exceptional in both its reliability and ease of use. I have never known it to fail even when working through a hotel firewall. And to top it all, TeamViewer is free for non-commercial use.
I heartily recommend TeamViewer to any Mac user who may have to screen-share over the internet for whatever reason and I thank the developers for making this freely available for us amateurs, as well as for the pros!
