While the author is not technically obliged by the GPL to open-source his code or make the product free (as I understand it, GPL doesn't make you do this if you only call on a GPL binary), this is still downright dirty. There is nothing especially complex about this wrapper, and with about a week's work, I could do the same thing in AppleScript Studio. All you have to do is pass a few parameters on to the command-line encoder dictated by options in the GUI. So no, I would not recommend this product.
