Version 5.1 has been out since the beginning of October 2009. After installing version 5.0.4, I had to reinstall the OS to get going again. v5.1 is working so far. I'm treating it with caution.

Beware, this application has not been updated to be compatible with OS X 10.6, Snow Leopard. For as long as Apple has had copies for developers, it's incredible that this Vendor has not seen fit to upgrade this application.

Yesterday I got my computer back from the shop. It's only the second time in 15 years I've had to take it in. IC did a real number on my system--inserted things into folders, showed hidden folders, basically rendered my computer unusable with a constantly reappearing warning message that not only wouldn't go away but kept me from using anything else on the computer. The tech who fixed it said it is a very common complaint with this software. I read the warnings pre-download but hoped my experience would be different. I actually had a good experience for almost a year. I don't know of another software package with the kinds of features IC had. As I said, it worked pretty well. Coincidentally(?), I downloaded iTunes 7.7 before the problems began and lots-o-people had problems with that version of iTunes.
