Product Description:

The NetTools plug-in for FileMaker Pro (mac/win) gives FMP developers a diverse collection of tools for interacting with Web servers, FTP servers, and performing other tcp/ip functions. Includes support for creating and submitting HTML forms, HTTP file uploads, all FTP commands (upload, download, list/create/delete directories, etc.). Also provides a WhoIS client (for querying domain name registration info), IP address resolution and base64 encoding/decoding.

The plugin is particularly useful for transferring data between FileMaker and remote Web or FTP sites (e.g., exporting HTML pages to your Web server).

Fully supports FileMaker 7 Client and now translates downloaded text from their native encoding to one suitable for Filemaker.

What's new in this version:

  • Modified Whois External function to use whois.arin.net by default when an IP address is looked-up.
