Broken (in a minor way) in 10.4.2 - Version: 1.1, 7/12/2005 03:03PM PST

Setting custom voices stopped working after the OS X 10.4.2 update -- I hear whatever voices I set (mine and the default for everyone else) instead of the custom voices other people set for themselves. So everyone else sounds the same! The same is true for the only other person I know who upgraded to 10.4.2 and uses iChatter.

works on Panther - Version: 1.0.1, 2/9/2004 01:47PM PST

Although a few people here have reported problems with Panther, iChatter works okay for most Panther users.
This version added the ability to set individual voices for people on your buddy list. This is a feature I've been wanting for a while, so I'm really glad they added it. There are at least two cases where it's really nice. Only a few of the people on the chat are on OS X, so most of them can't use iChatter, and thus can't set a voice for themselves -- in previous versions of iChatter they all got the same default voice, and you couldn't tell them apart. Now you can. Second, every once in a while someone with iChatter thinks it's funny to pick some really annoying voice, and it's nice to be able to override that!
Thanks for a great product.
