Fountain Music is a nice visualizer. It's very responsive to the music. It works fine in full screen mode on my 22" Apple Cinema Display (resolution at 1344 x 860) with a dual 1GHz G4. I have, however, upgraded the video card to an ATI Radeon with 256 MB of RAM. On a 15" PowerBook G4 there may simply not be enough video memory to support it in full screen - some screen savers are more efficient than others that way.
On the downside, the pattern selection is rather limited. Considering what real fountains can do - at some of the hotels in Las Vegas, for instance - I would hope to see more in Fountain Music - and wouldn't mind paying a bit for it if and when it is enhanced.

This is a great visualizer -- I just want to sit and watch it! Hypnotizing!
However, I did notice that it would not work when I would go to full screen (I'm using a 15" PowerBook G4). Other than that, it works flawlessly!

I hit escape and got back to itunes. Default itunes visualization plugin works fine but everytime I go back to the fountain, the image is corrupted/scrambled.
I tried uinstalling and reinstalling, no luck.
Mac Pro (about 12 hours old) nvidia 7300 GT. 10.4.9.
