Won't work on scanned images with blank date & time fields - Version: 2.0.1, 10/13/2007 10:40AM PST

I am trying to add EXIF dates on images from old 35 mm transparencies scanned with a Nikon Coolscan 5000 ED. When I drag the image file into PhotoInfo the Date-Time fields are blank, and the listed metadata has no entry for date-time. When I make entries in those fields the change button does not activate and allow date-time to be added to the files. It's the same for images captured with other scanners (Epson flat bed).
It's the same in Batch mode, and using the stepper controls only allows changing the year by max of 20. Many of my images are more than 40 years old.

PhotoInfo worked just as I hoped it would. My digital camera had been set to the wrong year, resulting in a whole mess of photos being EXIF stamped with the wrong year. I started off doing a find/replace using a standard text editor, but this was very slow and got tiresome in a hurry. Found PhotoInfo on Versiontracker, downloaded it, and within a minute I'd fixed all my photos. What more could you ask for? My only minor complaint is tiny interface issue in the Batch Change window: I would intuitively expect to see a "Change Now" or "Batch Change" button, rather than the "Show Changes" button. I especially like the tiny application size--no "feature bloat"!
