DVD Cache helps you keep track of your DVD collection. Available DVD information is automatically downloaded from us.imdb.com.

What's new in this version:

  • Title Searching updated to accommodate IMDB.com format change.
  • Option to export movie posters.
  • Movie Posters are no longer stored seperately. This should allievate most poster errors.
  • Producer is now pulled from IMDB
  • Adding additional cast members no longer crashes the application.

After 3 attempts to contact the developer, still no response. I have decided to switch DVDpedia and found their response time to my question about the ability to import the DVD Cache files was less than 30 minutes! Good news, if you have been using DVD Cache, this program will import the entire library complete with all information and posters quickly and easily. More versatile than DVD Cache, I regret having to change, but glad I did!

I have used this program for years and have a very large collection of DVD's. Now after the upgrade to OS 10.6 Snow Leopard, the program is broken and will not access the library or poster files. Have sent messages to the developer, who has been very responsive in the past, but have had no reply. I hope my years of data entry are not lost!

If the developer gets this fixed, I can give the program 5 stars, but if not I recommend anyone considering this program find something else!
