iLyric Reviewcould do better - Version: 2.0, 3/28/2006 02:26PM PST

OK, so it can get some lyrics, but for me only a fraction of what I was expecting; it even omits stuff that has been #1 in the UK.

The serious flaw, though, was its play mode, where it is meant to play on itunes the song it has grabbed the lyrics for (it starts by scanning your iTunes DB):
alas, I could only get it to play a random iTunes entry, never the selected song.

First of all congratulations. its the best tool to search and add lyrics-tags to my mp3-files. Although the usability is not very good but its ok.

The problem is that Special Characters as German or Spanish are displayd wrong and while adding to the mp3-files the programm freezes.

i hope it will fixed in the next update. thanks

iLyric Troubleshooting ReportSync'd wrong lyrics to iTunes songs - Version: 2.0, 9/18/2005 08:33PM PST

This program looked excellent. For the songs that it found lyrics for, it matched the right song with the right lyric (or vice versa). When I synced to iTunes 5, it put the wrong lyrics in the wrong files. I don't know if this is a problem with iTunes or iLyrics, but now hundreds of my songs have the wrong lyrics embedded in there files. I know of no way to reverse this issue except for going back to a backup of the files.

User BEWARE. I am working with the author to figure this one out. He is very responsive and willing to help.
