I really wanted this to be cool and it is until it crashes and it crashes a lot. I'm not happy with the crashing but the game is still fun and does auto save so i just launch the program and move on. hopefully we'll get an update soon.

I'm running on a dual processor 1.25. The program crashes constantly, the sounds go in and out, the graphics disappear at t imes, and if you make even one mistake they make you go all the way back to the beginning. Nice work, ASPYR. With crap like this we will all be on PC's in no time.

Spy Hunter ReviewGreat Game... STEEP requirements - Version: 1.0, 6/4/2003 09:56AM PST

I bought this game for a number of reasons. Primarily because I've been wanting a driving game that wasn't NASCAR related; while I'd love to see a Test Drive or Need For Speed product out soon this will work.

Listen to what Aspyr says with the requirements. They aren't kidding. I have a 500 MHz G4 that is entirely inadequate. I won't fault the game for performance. The graphics are great, music is nice and the overall feel of the game is superb.

Interface wise the game is what would be expected from a console port. You must use the arrows on your keyboard rather than a mouse. Some of the keys used are PC keys rather than their Mac equivalents.

My only quibble is with the documentation. This is Aspyr's first Mac/PC disc. The manual is heavily slanted towards PC users with keys listed as "Left Alt" and "Enter". Hopefully in the future they will take a more neutral stance and include both.
