"StereoGrabber" makes it easier to view and organize stereoscopic photos.
Three Images:
Three instead of two stereo pair images are displayed side by side on each page so that they can be freeviewed either by parallel or cross-eyed viewing method.
Zoom:
You can enlarge and shrink the images by zooming in on or zooming out of the images. Parallel-viewing stereoscopic images can sometimes be made easier by shrinking the images. On the other hand if you are good at cross-eyed viewing, you may want to enlarge the images to fully appreciate them.
Database Power:
Images can be easily sorted and retrieved as well as displayed.
Jump to URL:
Clicking on the "URL button" opens the web browser and takes you to the linked URL.
Drag/Drop:
You can drag/drop images as well as cut/copy/paste them.
Operating System Requirements:
This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:
For the record, this is a standalone FileMaker Pro database.
It ships with zero instructions or help function.
It appears to store pairs of photographs in its database, (four pairs are included) but the "import record" function does not recognize .jpg, .tif, .pict, .psd, or most importantly, .jps format files.
Curiously, it seems to be organized to use pairs of files, rather than single files with two images in them, as is standard for distributing stereo pairs within the hobby.
I could give this one star, but that's being either generous or cruel;
I cannot tell which because I cannot figure how it is suppposed to work.
Shall we say, "not ready for prime time?"
