This cant be. A collection of a couple of scripts that cost more than an entire OS like Snow Leopard ?
It does now work at all on Snow Leopard, no answer from support, no mention on their website of it. While most share and even freeware developers have adjusted their software to run on Snow Leopard. And this is supposed to be a tool for business.
Plus, there are much nicer and better alternatives, like webtogo.de, or the respective software from your carrier, and even for free.
What a mistake to give them my money.

Launch2net is a great software. Where ever you are going online using your mobile phone. Very friendly support, just needed it once after the Mac OSX 10.5 upgrade.
Excellent!!

Have used launch2net with Macbook and MotoRazr v3xx all over the world for nearly a year. I'm still amazed at the simplicity of setup, and the reliability.
Download - install - open - automatic configuration (30seconds) - WORKS!
Congratulations NovaMedia - your product is worth every cent!

This is an impressive app. Run it, it sets everything up and click on connect and that's it.
The only drawback, and it's a big one, is that it is eye-wateringly expensive (€75). It costs more than iLife '08. Something is seriously wrong there and it's a great shame.

Good product, superb support

Launch2net works very well on my mac with a Sierra Wireless Aircard 880. The software is much better, albeit more expensive, than the Sierra driver for mac. The Novamedia support team is outstanding. They resolved two problems in a couple of hours.
forgot my rating

easy to use / install, fair demo mode to test your hardware´s compatibility, great support, does what it´s supposed to do, runs quite stable and gets updated on a regular basis (have to check developers site). A bit expensive but still No. 1 choice when it comes to UMTS/mobile Internet connector software.

I´m using this software for over a year now. Only had one problem after I installed a Vodafone connector software to test our agency´s UMTS card. But novamedia support solved it within 10 minutes.
Thank you for your comments. As you may know, launch2net relies on the modem drivers of several modem manufacturers to "talk" to the modems and make the online experience as best as possible.
Now, as 10.6 compatible modem drivers are not available at the moment, we can not issue a 10.6 compatible update immediately. This does not only affect us, but in general many drivers have to be updated to work with 10.6.
We have stated this on our website as soon as 10.6 was able to be purchased and we are sorry for any inconvenience the lack of modem drivers have caused us all.
Then, there seems to be a slight misunderstanding about the way launch2net helps you to go online. launch2net is not a collection of modem scripts, but a full-featured Internet connection manager. Besides the ability to automatically recognize your device and network information, it will use the right connection settings even in foreign countries. As you know, using your SIM card for online connections abroad is quite expensive due to the roaming costs. With launch2net, you can use e.g. a PrePaid card in foreign countries to connect as easy as at home without the need to call the foreign language support team.
In addition, launch2net keeps track of the online time and data usage. So you can have launch2net quit a connection if a certain limit has been reached. Or check the statistics any time. Furthermore launch2net can autostart a connection, work in the backgound, connect and disconnect using only a menu-bar item without the need to open the application and more.
This is the difference to a mere modem script and it can save you hundreds of dollars roaming costs and much time otherwise spent talking to a network support team.
Kind regards,
Jan Fuellemann (nova media)
