Product Description:

Business Card Composer - create and print business or personal cards within native Mac OS X app. Prepared design and image collections lead to simplicity of making own cards. Brand-new Mac technologies expand users' capabilities in dealing with graphics and text (opacity, masks, color graded fills and more). Full integration with the OS X system functionality lets using data for cards from Apple Address Book.
Business Card Composer allows print out cards on specific paper stock from world-wide manufacturers (Avery, Apli, Herma, Canson, Sigel and more).

What's new in this version:

The ability to order printing cards in an online print shop right from the program. This is useful when you need to print a large amount of cards (100 or more), or you need cards of professional quality.
Users can create custom layouts for all kinds of labels and business cards (determine the size of the cards and their arrangement on paper. Now it's possible to print cards of non-standard size and add support for new card stock.
The built-in clipart collection is now virtually unlimited. You can search images in the Internet by keywords right from the program.
You can also add custom folders with pictures to the clipart collection.
The same card can be printed for several people, so the cards have the same design but different personal information. Just choose the people you need from the Apple Address Book. This is very convenient for creating ID cards, name cards, badges, etc.
About 30 new designs added, and the existing ones have been enhanced.
Better support for Mac OS 10.3 Panther: now it's possible to insert EPS and AI files, the standard Fonts panel is fully supported (including fonts and underlining).
Export to PDF is customizable so you can configure the PDF to meet the requirements of a print shop (bleeds and cut marks).
Objects can be aligned to the left or right edges. It's especially convenient for creating text columns.
It is possible to incorporate e-mail feedback mechanism.
In dialogs working with Address Book, the ability to choose groups is added.
For more convenience the size of clipping area during print is increased for paper with bleeds between cards.
Enhanced work with text dialog.
Many minor improvements and additions.
Various bugs fixed.

In the 4 days that I've been using this app, I have to say that this app is absolutely awesome and I had to buy it. I have so much control over what my business card looks like. I love the Printer Calibration feature, which allows me to properly align my printout with the paper. I also like the hundreds of templates and thousands of clip-art images that comes with the app.

In my 15+ years as a Mac user, this is the best $40 I ever spent. Not only does it give virtually unlimited ability to create exactly what your mind visualizes for business cards quickly and efficiently, but I also utilized the many well thought out features to replicate (from scratch) an offset printed detailed identification card for our club (2-1/4 x 3-1/2, portrait). Editing is possible on an extremely fine level of movement by using the arrow keys in lieu of the mouse. Placement of any element is available via the inspector to 1/100th of an inch, left, right, up, and down. Cropping can be done also via arrow keys (in lieu of mouse) to crop just from one side or just from the top or just from the bottom, and again, via inspector, to within 1/100th of an inch. Custom design of layout for printing is quick and easy for non-standard papers (including two-sided printing, either auto or manual). Merging from a text file is provided, including graphics/photographs and serial numbers for auto generation of two-sided ID cards for the entire list of members. Documentation could be more complete, but, if you don't see it in the documentation, just try it, it may well work. There was nothing that I wanted to accomplish that the program did not provide in a clear and intuitive manner. Use your imagination and this program can probably accomplish almost anything you can conceive. So far I have not needed to use tech service.
