Product Description:

The complete Mac OS X kit to create and print business cards, calling cards and badges. The package contains 23,000+ high-quality clipart images, 600+ professional designs and powerful image editing tools (opacity, masks, tiling, shadows, color graded fills and more).

Full integration with the Mac OS X system lets you use data for cards from Apple Address Book and images from iPhoto. Advanced printing delivers you a choice of printing methods. The program supports duplex printers for printing double-sided cards. Around 700 card stock layouts from leading manufacturers are supported.

What's new in this version:

New functionalities:

Text to Curve feature (using Export options) lets you transform the document into vector image, this will help to avoid problems with font absence when you send a document to a printshop.

Converting text object into an image allows to apply image effects to it.

Adjustable export to EPS added.

Image cropping directly in the document becomes available (available via Image tab of the Inspector panel).

An option to align on first selected object is added (Inspector Alignment Tab), shortcuts are available.

Hold Editing Modes (Text Box, Box, Line on the Toolbar) via double click added.

Interface changes:

Context menu (Ctrl+Mouse click or right button Mouse click) varies depending on the selected object.

Various editing mode buttons were added into Customize toolbar dialog, which simplifies toolbar usage in Text Only mode.

Now all images in Clipart panel got tooltips with complete image description and file name.

New shortcut to toggle Clipart panel (Cmd+Alt+C).

Shortcut to Show/Hide Inspector added (Cmd+Shift+I).

Content update:

New Compulabel and DECADRY paper formats added.

Improvements:

Improved Spell Check, now checks the whole card including all layers and back side. "Check Spelling as You Type" mode is saved in the document for future use.

Picture drawing quality at various zoom levels improved.

Copying images into clipboard becomes faster.

Program crash when using Inspector without opened document is fixed.

In the 4 days that I've been using this app, I have to say that this app is absolutely awesome and I had to buy it. I have so much control over what my business card looks like. I love the Printer Calibration feature, which allows me to properly align my printout with the paper. I also like the hundreds of templates and thousands of clip-art images that comes with the app.

In my 15+ years as a Mac user, this is the best $40 I ever spent. Not only does it give virtually unlimited ability to create exactly what your mind visualizes for business cards quickly and efficiently, but I also utilized the many well thought out features to replicate (from scratch) an offset printed detailed identification card for our club (2-1/4 x 3-1/2, portrait). Editing is possible on an extremely fine level of movement by using the arrow keys in lieu of the mouse. Placement of any element is available via the inspector to 1/100th of an inch, left, right, up, and down. Cropping can be done also via arrow keys (in lieu of mouse) to crop just from one side or just from the top or just from the bottom, and again, via inspector, to within 1/100th of an inch. Custom design of layout for printing is quick and easy for non-standard papers (including two-sided printing, either auto or manual). Merging from a text file is provided, including graphics/photographs and serial numbers for auto generation of two-sided ID cards for the entire list of members. Documentation could be more complete, but, if you don't see it in the documentation, just try it, it may well work. There was nothing that I wanted to accomplish that the program did not provide in a clear and intuitive manner. Use your imagination and this program can probably accomplish almost anything you can conceive. So far I have not needed to use tech service.
