Product Description:

SubRosaSoft Macnifier shows a magnified section of your screen to help viewing up close.

It allows variable zooming, and variable speed refresh, and runs under MacOS native, MacOSX Carbon, and Windows operating systems.This ability is helpful for the visually impaired and is almost essential for precision work in graphics design programs.

What's new in this version:

  • Updated UI for metal look in Panther

Commentary by Oletom : Macinfier is a nice FREE application, but it starts with a splash panel and puts crosshairs in the center of the magnified window. I've been using Zoom Lens (still available at tucows.com). It seems a little more responsive, it's free, and there's versions for OS 7 and up, or OS X.
