great tool for trouble shooting serial links, works with keyspan usa28x usb to serial adaptor series, and i'm using it on osx.4.10 PPC (the latest @ time of writing) sadly no universal version yet
small disadvantage: you cannot send long hex strings as used in rs485 adressing, it only sends the last 2 typed in character
