Product Description:

iPIM is a professional solution for creating calendars and contacts used to manage all the appointments and deadlines for one or more individuals.

Available for both Mac OS 9 and OS X, iPIM makes it easy to organize a company or workgroup because it makes it possible to share appointments and information in a simple, fast and clear manner.

By using a proprietary client/server technology, all individuals access the same data in real time, without needing to acquire third party applications or pay for expensive Internet services for information support. This means private appointments can be managed, meetings can be organized for one or more people, the same contacts can be shared, as well as all other activities usually found in calendars.

In addition, each user is free to work even when not connected to the server, thanks to special information synchronizing functionalities. It is easy to take calendars and contacts home or on vacation, to be always up to date on all the activities and events.

iPIM is also available in single user version and can thus be used locally by one individual.

iPIM ReviewToo bad - Version: 1.0, 10/31/2005 10:54AM PST

The issue I am trying to resolve is shared Contacts. The calendar we are already doing with iCal and WebDAV so that's not a big issue. It's the $2000+(Canadian) for 25 licenses that is rediculous. Another problem is vCard support, there is none. One would think if we were upgrading from apple's address book, that you would supply a method to do so. Such is not the case. It's too bad, I like the product, it will work great for my application. OSX server gives me way more functionality and an unlimited license for $1000. $2000 for 25 people to have shared contacts? Sorry, my customers are not cool with that. Personally I'd like to see a "splinter" product to just deal with shared contacts, and this company seems to be the only one that got it right. But without more realistic pricing, I still won't be interested in recommending it.

iPIM ReviewFinally something to replace other PIMs - Version: 1.0, 10/5/2003 02:02AM PST

Now this looks interesting. What NUTD&C should be like. Looks like links to files on disk and banners are coming. Looks great, works well. Finally something to replace Entourage, NUTD&C and, dare I say it, DayLite. Keep up the great work guys.

mmorales, thank you for your suggestions: we really appreciate them.
You're right, "banner events" and "all-day events" aren't supported yet, but will do in short. We are also working on some other features:

  • Mac OS X Address Book sync
  • Palm OS Sync
  • More drag&drop and contextual menu support
  • vCard and vCal import/export
  • Modem support

Please support us, and we’ll do our best to make iPIM the choice organizer for Apple Mac OS.
Feel free to contact us at support@powersolutions.it to submit any other suggestion and feedback.
Thanks.
