iCalMaker is an to easy use, text based appointment creation tool. The program allows the rapid creation of vCal diary appointment files for use with iCal and other such applications. Using iCalMaker it is possible: to use an 'intelligent' import of appointment data from the clipboard; to import appointments from tab and comma delimited files; to import data from a vCal file (Palm Desktop type files); to import data from iCal files; to merge appointments from multiple calendars; to create appointments within iCalMaker; to make appointments as single, or repeating (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) events with exclusion dates; and also as 'request appointments, with direct access to the Address Book for e-mail addresses, which can be sent via e-mail. Once the data has been imported, or created, it can be edited as required and exported: to Mail as an attached iCal file (with conformation requests); as a vCal file (Palm Desktop); as an iCal file; and directly to iCal.
