When used in combinatiion with Mouse Distance Measurer ( http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/14866 ) this little gem enhances the functionality, cybermetric interactivity, and user-friendliness of the OSX platform. Hopefully Apple will purchase rights for this and incorporate these features in future OSX releases.

Stewart01, you are laughing, but consider this: until about a half-hour ago I couldn't have envisioned a use for a little utility like this. Then, I faced a problem where this _exact_ utility was the best possible answer. And, lucky for me, and despite people like you that laugh at what you don't understand, it exists, and it works as advertised (at least as long as there is room in the menubar for it).
As for mr tew, you clearly flunked high school math (or went to school in Texas). Because otherwise, you would realize that you cannot have a coordinate system that starts at 1,1. It can only start at 0,0. You are free, of course, to add 1 to each coordinate if that helps you (that requires, of course, that you know how to add).
