Product Description:

Haxial Benchmark provides a cross-platform method to compare the performance of computers, and to verify correct operation. For example, the performance of a Mac computer can be compared against a Windows computer. It is also good for comparing computers on the same platform. The tests can also be used to verify that a computer is functioning correctly. Haxial Benchmark checks the results and will report if a result is incorrect.

Haxial Benchmark performs an operation on the computer while timing it. At the end, the duration of time and the speed (data rate) is reported. You can then use Benchmark to perform the exact same operation on a different computer, and then you can compare the results to determine which computer is faster.

Haxial Benchmark is designed to give results that are directly relevant to Haxial programs. The tests involve the use of real functions used by real Haxial programs. In other words, it gives you an idea of how fast Haxial programs run on your computer.

What's new in this version:

  • The previous benchmarks have been replaced with a "CPU & RAM" benchmark which includes the previous benchmarks plus a bunch of other new "sub-tests".
  • Much improved display of results.
  • Added a progress bar.

Haxial Benchmark ReviewTotal waste of time to even open the file. - Version: 1.0, 9/19/2007 07:27AM PST

Tesselator
I think this was someone's first program and was an excersize in opening a custom window. It's usefulness is almost zero.

This can be used as a "second opinion" for xbench pure CPU/memory tests when you want to compare 2 states of your computer... locally!

As the product description says, the purpose of Haxial is to generate figures that YOU compare to the figures it generates when you run Haxial on another computer. There are far too many Macs, PCs, etc. out there for the author of Haxial to do benchmarking on.
