You want to display your user name, your computer name, the IP address, the subnet mask and the MAC address of each of your network interface at the same time? You want your Mac to automatically send an email or upload a file through FTP when one of your IP addresses changes?
Then IP Address Menu is what you need!

- It can automatically send an email or upload a file through FTP with all this information and the new IP address when it detects that one of your IP addresses has changed.
- This can be useful for example if you want to be notified when your remote Mac has changed of IP address because of an internet reconnection.
- You can configure the subject and the body of the emails sent.

IP Address Menu CommentaryWaste Of Money (You don't need it) - Version: 3.8, 5/12/2007 01:46PM PST

If you want to line the developer's pockets with money and/or you have no interest in giving it away to charitable causes then go ahead and waste it on this application. At the same time you might as well pay for the other garbage that AlphaOmega has in its inventory of junk that is duplicated by the OS or by freeware. If you really want an app that sits in your menubar and gives you your ip and local ip and also advises you by email when your connection is down or when it is back up then install BwanaDik it is freeware and so far 10,000 Mac users have installed it. Don't be a SHMOE and go for this absolute waste of your hard earned money.

Not worth spending money on something like this when the application does this exact same notification easier. No ip in the menu bar with Wimp but who needs it if you get notification when it changes?
