I downloaded and in stalled the product and had some questions to help fit it into my workflow. The support team quickly responded to multiple emails very quickly helping me get my project started. I'm definately impressed with the speed and quality produced by this software but I'm even more impressed by the support team's willingness to work through the smallest details to ensure I was happy with this purchase. I would recommend this product for it's ability to produce quality files very quickly.
DVDxDV a must for TV Production - Version: 1.39.8, 10/17/2009 01:19PM PST

I have been using DVDxDV for over a year now and I could not easily do my job without this tool. I am a Technology Specialist in a K-8 school and help produce a Kid’s TV News Show at a local cable TV station.
We shoot the stories at school in .mov format using video cameras and iMovie on Macs and go to the studio to do the anchor shoots. We record on VCR at the studio and it is transferred to DVD format.
I use DVDxDV to easily convert to DVD to a .mov format so I can do my final merging and editing in iMove. I then burn to DVD for use at the studio for our final broadcasting.
I have tried a couple other solutions but this is the easiest software to use and it produces great results.
The support team is also awesome. I had to replace a hard drive on my Mac and I did not have the license key to activate the product for a critical weekend production. I emailed them and had the key back in less than five minutes.
I would recommend this product highly.

I was more than pleasantly surprised by the super quick response from the DVDxDV support team when I needed help with our license code today. Icing on the cake for a wonderful product that does what we need it to do, simply, easily and efficiently.
A quick note on DVDxDV Customer Service - Version: 1.39.8, 9/21/2009 10:39AM PST

It's rare to find great customer service anymore. But DVDxDV is an exception. I lost a previous email with my key code info and wrote a simple email asking if I could access that information. Within literally one minute, I was given the code. No hassel. No hoops. And the quickest response I've ever received.
Kudos to DVDxDV Support Team!

If you get the "Unable to save file" from the updater - Version: 1.39.8, 8/17/2009 10:11AM PST

If you get the message, "Unable to save file" from the automatic updater, you are probably running Mac OS X 10.5 and you are using version 1.39.5 or 1.39.6. You will need to contact support@dvdxdv.com in order to get a download link to version 1.39.8. DVDxDV cannot send update emails out any more give the shear numbers of customers using DVDxDV. It simply overwhelms our mail servers. Therefore, you will need to contact support@dvdxdv.com to get the update. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Problem with the update? How about emailing support@dvdxdv.com - Version: 1.39.8, 8/16/2009 09:50AM PST

If you have problems with the installer why are you posting here? Why don't you send email to support@dvdxdv.com. Posting to this place won't resolve your issue. You will get a response most likely within minutes of sending a email to support@dvdxdv.com.
Between version 1.36 and 1.37, the installer will fail under Mac OS X 10.5. You need to send an email to support@dvdxdv.com, so that you can download the latest version that already has this issue fixed.
