iTunes2MySQL was made to run with the stock versions of Jaguar and Panther.
Many people have responded directly and indicated that it works great.
If you are one of the few people having problems, I need some useful feedback to find out what isn't working on your system.
Mostly I need to know what version of OSX you are running and what version of perl.
iTunes2MySQL has two perl modules embedded in it that were compiled for the shipping versions of perl. If you have modified your perl then you must install the DBD and DBI perl modules from CPAN for MySQL and remove the internal perl modules I supplied.
