Forms To Go ReviewVersion 4. raises the bar! - Version: 4.0.1, 4/13/2008 10:24AM PST

I've used Forms To Go since version 1.something and have always been very pleased with the developer's excellent support and obvious desire to make this a stellar product.

Version 4 adds the ability to reuse the original form html page as the error target, fully preserving all form entries. While his sounds like not a big thing, prior versions required a separate page for intelligent form error handling. This means only one common page to manage.

If you do any web development requiring custom PHP form handling (sorry, I haven't used the ASP or PERL scripts) Forms To Go will have a place in your workflow!

Forms To Go ReviewAdded features, this release buggy though... - Version: 3.2.5, 10/8/2007 07:49AM PST

I love this program and have used it effectively for quite some time. Support is fast, however, this release is the buggiest I've encountered. I'm getting errors with the program trying to write preferences to places it should not.

I am trying to apply the new advanced features like Captcha and time outs for posting. However, the program is crashing trying to write invalid preferences and it isn't finding pages that are set as absolute or root relative. And the preference files allow different error and success pages than do the settings files and I think there is a conflict here.

This product gets the job done, very flexible: it's my swiss army knife. So far I haven't had any trouble. I get paid for what it cost 20x times now. Works great on Mac.

I have used the program for over couple of years and there is nothing like it, at least on the Mac. The functions and customizable options no other program can come close to.

This is best app on the Mac but they are constantly hustling to update this app.

And the price is very reasonable. One job will pay for itself. Another great thing about these guys is they gave the currently customers with lifetime updates! It would have cost me another $75 dollars but no, for life I get fee support and updates!

Forms To Go ReviewPoor support, bad validation - Version: 2.6.12, 6/10/2006 07:33AM PST

This program really needs to return the user to the form they filled out, with labels next to the ones they filled out incorrectly. Having an error page simply list what they did wrong is almost useless. Until they work this out, don't bother with this.

Support on their forum is pretty slow coming too. And the help files need to be rewritten by someone who speaks English.

Forms To Go Reviewthis is an awesome product - Version: 2.6.2, 4/11/2005 02:00PM PST

it's the easiest way i've found to create web email forms. i've tried all those free, do-it-yourself solutions and none of them do exactly what i need them to do. plus, if you don't have a means by which to configure the server-side setup, you're just out of luck, unless you have this handy utility. for $18, it's a great little tool. keep up the good work.

I tried it out and immediately registered. I used to have to pay a PHP guy big bucks to do this stuff. This application is a time saver and a money saver. Thanks!

Forms To Go Developer NoteForms To Go is not an HTML Form Creator - Version: 2.5.4, 8/14/2004 08:30PM PST

gfcve
You're confused. This programs does not create HTML Forms. The unregistered version if *fully* functional, and it creates scripts to process your HTML forms, which you already have created with other programs.

Forms To Go CommentaryFrom crrippleware to demo - Version: 2.5.4, 8/14/2004 08:27AM PST

I really like this. Not being a php or perl coder, I found forms-to-go extremely user-friendly. However, the demo has severely crippled functionalities, which make impossible to make a proper test. Wouldn't it be possible to have a fully functional demo version able to create only one script for the prospective buyer to check the functionality to his heart's content? Ok, millions of developers would use the demo to build their solitary forms. To avoid that loss of income, the demo form could have a limited set of tags: one name, one e-mail one text area, one pair of buttons....
Anyway, the interface is cool and the instructions are written in human language, not in the impenetrable and confusing lingo that coders favor. This alone makes the application highly recommendable.
