Entourage Browser Developer NoteRe: Preview and Delete Your Messages Without Opening Them? - Version: 1.0b5, 5/13/2003 08:58AM PST

"What are the advantages for one to preview and then delete messages without opening them? Thanks." Maybe, before delete a message you want take a quick look to its contents. I initially concibed these buttons to preview/delete certain messages, such as HTML ones... Entourage Browser born two years ago in my computer. Every time I opened HTML messages, the result was umpredictable: long time waiting, crashes and system freezes. I still hate HTML messages... So, most of times I delete them using Entourage Browser. Before you ask it, the "attachment" button has the same purpose. If you have activated "show graphics, sounds, video, etc." and you receive a 10MB movie or a 3MB jpg, you can still choose view it in Entourage, or delete it on-the-fly from EB, without the need to open it. The "HTML" button is very useful to look the message in your default browser (perhaps it doesn't display very good in your Entourage window) and to extract the embedded HTML code ("save to disk" feature). Cheers! JJ

What are the advantages for one to preview and then delete messages without opening them? Thanks. Note: This program is not installed; just required to select "Used Product For" field in order to post (good job VersionTracker!) Include me in the camp that VersionTracker made their product less useful with the latest changes.
