fennel DVDManager ReviewHOW EXTREMELY ASININE TO MAKE ONLY SNOW LEOPARD USERS PAY FOR THIS! BOYCOTT!! - Version: 1.8.5, 11/24/2009 04:11AM PST

Kudrabar
Fennel, you should be ASHAMED for practicing OS-RACISM against those of who have already had to spend more cash to update to Snow Leopard, and you are making us cough up $30 to pay for your piece of crap software that does not apply to 10.5 and 10.4 users?

I'm really serious about this folks, we should BOYCOTT THIS JACKASS!

Import of csv or xml does nothing. I'm not retyping thousands of titles. Fix the import and it would be a nice app.

This is a nice little app. It doesn't do the fancy barcode scanning (never works when I do it anyway) but looks like Apple software, is simple and easy to use.

If you go to the developers site, you can download the lite version, which is UK and US English only, rather than multilingual.

Would love to be able to edit the genre by double clicking the genre field, rather than going to the menu bar.

Search feature is pure mac, works and is fast.

I would also like to be able to edit the filter setting, so I can say whether I have ripped it to my media centre.

Import and export to xml format, same as other DVD cataloging software.

The web export function allows you to create a HTML webpage of all your DVD's that you could send to a friend so they can see what you have got (don't tell the film companies!). I have been annoyed by software that doesn't do this in the past, as it seems an obvious thing you would want to do.

So far so good.
