Product Description:
biakfennel DVDManager is our next-generation DVD manager (sigh) for Mac OS X. With its clean interface, biakfennel DVDManager makes maintaining your DVD library as easy as Macintosh!
Important Notes:
- Retrieve your DVDs' details through online sites
- or Add & Edit them manually, yet *quickly* (just the core details!)
- Manage their life when lent to friends thanks to your Address Book
- Create box sets easily & Manage them intuitively
- Export a complete list of your DVD library, etc.
Important Notes:
- An Int'l version containing the whole set of localizations (Czech, English, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese & Spanish) is available from our Web site (http://dvdmanager.free.fr/).
- We're on the way to prioritize Panther development from now. This doesn't mean we're entirely dropping Jaguar support; but be prepared to only see critical bug fixes regarding this platform.

What's new in this version:
- Thanks to some clever optimizations, your DVD library is now loaded way faster!
- Like your columns in v2.1, your sorting preferences (both the column and its sort order) are saved and restored.
- Now presented in a smaller package-which only contains "English" & "French" localizations (An Int'l version is available from our Web site.)
- 2 new localizations have been added to our Int'l version: "Norwegian" & "Portuguese."
- Direct links have been added to our application for visiting our Web site and providing feedback.
- Minor bug fixes...

Import of csv or xml does nothing. I'm not retyping thousands of titles. Fix the import and it would be a nice app.

This is a nice little app. It doesn't do the fancy barcode scanning (never works when I do it anyway) but looks like Apple software, is simple and easy to use.
If you go to the developers site, you can download the lite version, which is UK and US English only, rather than multilingual.
Would love to be able to edit the genre by double clicking the genre field, rather than going to the menu bar.
Search feature is pure mac, works and is fast.
I would also like to be able to edit the filter setting, so I can say whether I have ripped it to my media centre.
Import and export to xml format, same as other DVD cataloging software.
The web export function allows you to create a HTML webpage of all your DVD's that you could send to a friend so they can see what you have got (don't tell the film companies!). I have been annoyed by software that doesn't do this in the past, as it seems an obvious thing you would want to do.
So far so good.

I'm really serious about this folks, we should BOYCOTT THIS JACKASS!
