chronicfatheadIf you go to the developers site, you can download the lite version, which is UK and US English only, rather than multilingual.
Would love to be able to edit the genre by double clicking the genre field, rather than going to the menu bar.
Search feature is pure mac, works and is fast.
I would also like to be able to edit the filter setting, so I can say whether I have ripped it to my media centre.
Import and export to xml format, same as other DVD cataloging software.
The web export function allows you to create a HTML webpage of all your DVD's that you could send to a friend so they can see what you have got (don't tell the film companies!). I have been annoyed by software that doesn't do this in the past, as it seems an obvious thing you would want to do.
So far so good.
ALERT: Amazon-based Web Sources at Risk - Version: 1.6.7 (44), 5/21/2007 04:29PM PST
fennelsoftware
Through this alert bulletin, we'd like to let you know that we're now aware of problems re the retrieval of DVD details through Amazon-based Web sources. We'd also like to tell you that we've already started investigating what could be the cause of such an issue, and we'll try to keep you informed of our progress towards solving it. Be assured we'll do our best to get your beloved DVD manager back and running as expected as soon as possible. But we don't ignore the possibility that those Web sources may be temporarily removed from fsDM if a new implementation of those retrieval mechanisms was going to be needed…
We're really sorry for the inconvenience, and we'd like to thank you all for your patience and understanding in the meantime.

Lou ZerOn the "Like to have" list would be small stuff:
- add to the genre list
- export to text/ipod notes format
- edit the underlying link to IMDB/Amazon.

Genre options needed. - Version: 1.6.5, 3/13/2006 11:19AM PST

Drewman21The second thing that would be nice would to double genre/tag a movie. Like Action/Adventure, Comedy/Drama, etc.
These options would help alot for me and I would guess for you guys too so that you wouldn't have to create every type of tag or option in the Genre list. Thanks again for a great program!
