I alerted the developer to some glitches in the last version, 2.0. Within a matter of days, he revised the application. Now Googol runs perfectly in my iMactel. Once again, I love this application. It's the perfect mix of creativity and entertainment!
Maybe not quite ready for Universal Binary

I love this little diversionary app. The only problem is on my iMactel, every time I try to run a simulation in 3D, the app crashes. Yes, I have purchased the shareware license. I can only conclude that the newest version is NOT fully Universal yet.
Awesome!!!

Read my other reviews, I'm usualy not that nice about faulty software, but somehow, this is one software where the limitations are part of the game and make it so much fun to use.
There are also quite a few technical glitches that prevents me from buying it, but I can't wait to see what they'll come up with for V.2.0...
In the meantime, one the best way I found to waste some time while enjoying every minutes of it lately...
Maybe there should also be a "contributionware" level where people could send their best sets to be included as demos, in exchange for free licenses, rebates and so on...
One feature I would like to see is the ability to network it all and have tracks that go beyond the boundaries of our own sets, so we could go visit other online people's set, and also let them share our tracks...

I'll be creating some models soon if I can import them from Lightwave. I assume it won't be all that hard considerring the formats are pretty standard, we'll see...
I hope to set up a simple chat forum and download site once I get some models working...

Stay tuned

looks like some program for kids. not for people who take model railways seriously. not worth the HD space, IMHO.
no stars from me.

Hi Folks
As most of you seem to like (love) this beautiful (and almost FREE) product, how about creating a "Fan Page"? Something like: "http://trainz.luvr.net/"? Not on that scale however something where we could share design, layouts, ideas? Unfortunately Koichi Hayashi has not the time for that (OK, push development (;-))) but does any of you have the means to host and run something like that? I'd be happy to contribute (tripeter@gmx.de)
Let's do it!

This latest version is a must-have: trains run much more smoothly and the app consumes less CPU cycles to boot. Very nice!
While you're getting the update be sure to download the new extra items as well-- many include lighting, adding greatly to night scene ambiance. Just be sure to put the items in the correct folders so that you can find them in the app.

I've set up a forum, feel free to join!
