:( Easy to use, splits well, but sadly, little skips in audio.
Splits fine, but drops signal - Version: 2.6, 12/19/2006 02:00AM PST

When I split a continuous-play file, cue-splitter drops out the first .2 or so seconds of each track (each new file). Time is not distorted, but the signal is. It's as if a very short fade-in is introduced to each track.
Worked perfectly fine for me - Version: 2.6, 11/30/2006 07:23AM PST

Absolutly smooth for me. Chose .cue file, hit split and that's it!

Same problem as busymelph. I'm running 10.4.8.
Cue-splitter "goes through the motions", tells me all files have been processed,
but in reality. no files have been created at all.
The app opens with a splash screen asking for PayPal donations.
Maybe if the software actually did something, I would donate!

Carefull with File Name - Version: 2.6, 10/4/2006 08:51AM PST

cue-splitter did not work for me at first, it went through the motions but did not do anything. Changing the names of the folder, mp3 and cue files solved the problem. I am not sure if it was the length or non-alphanumeric characters in the name that was causing the problem. Either way this is a bug and you should use simple names as a work around.
I tried everything... - Version: 2.6, 2/2/2006 06:17AM PST

I'm running 10.3.8
I'm trying to split an mp3 file. Both cue and mp3 files have a short name, the app sees the files, and the destination folder exists. It goes through the motions... but the files are never created !... and since the total disk space size hasn't changed, they weren't created anywhere else on the hard drive either. Tried several times... even removed headers from the cue file before "FILE" (they get in the way in Xact) - nothing works !... Since this is the only app out there to split mp3 files with cue sheets without re-encoding to AIFF, I really hope someone can help me out... Thanks ! :)

Thanks. Since 2.5.x wasn't working for me. 2.6 does exactly what it should do.
Just isn't working.

Since Tiger, this nice little App isn't working. Wether the 2.5.1 nor the 2.5.2 (downloadable at the developer's website) is working for me. As soon as I click on "split" it crashes... :-(
