I've got Panther it worked like a charm. I work with Photoshop and Apple's Screenshots all day. What a pain! First you have to shoot it, then open it in Preview, then take another screen shot with Grab (because that stupid utility greys out your windows when you try to use that!) just to get it all in the proper format. Apple should really go back to the drawing board on that one. But this utility has it right. One click and i can save my screenshot in any format. Too bad I didn't have this for the last two months of work!

Not really any advantage here other than the ability to save various formats. The scaling feature is absolutely horrible!
