Product Description:

LogOutAE is a screen saver designed to log the current user out of their Mac OS X session. You can configure two timeout periods. The first timeout period will cause an Apple Event to fire telling the Finder to log out. If that log out fails due to an unresponsive application or unsaved changes, the second timeout period begins. At the end of the second timeout, the user will be logged out forcibly. This project is free as in both beer and speech. Code contributions and feature suggestions are welcome.

What's new in this version:

New configuration panel look.
New "Never" option for force logout. (Thanks to Bo Iniguez for the suggestion)
LogOutAE will now execute scripts before logout. Safe and force logout scripts can be separately specified.
Localizations activated.

I have not used this at all, but I think a cool addition give the multiple user option in Panther is the option to send the user to the "Login Window" instead of logging him/her out. Is this at all possible?
