I am a musician that handles several different mail lists for different parts of the country that we play, NOT a spammer. I use it to extract email addresses from email I recieve requesting notices of our play dates, and to send a newsletter regarding upcoming performances. I find this program to be useful and it does what it says it does. I also take issue with all the comments here that are not reviews, but simply angry venting of people frustrated with spam. This developer has been responsive, polite, and obviously committed to improving his product.
To all of you who left poor ratings about this program without actually using it, and bash it, you are no better than the spammers you hate. You're dishonest. Shame on you. This is a forum for REVIEWING SOFTWARE. Not a place to rant about spam.
One bug note: This seems to have a problem recognizing underscores as part of an email address, and it sometimes chops off the address at the underscore.
Otherwise a very useful tool.

I manage the creation and sending of email newsletters for a number of clients and this is a very useful tool. The list management capabilities pick up where Maxbulk Emailer leaves off. I don't spam, I send quarterly newsletters to thousands of people that make up my clients' customer mailing lists.

As far as spam is concerned, it's not going to get better any time soon- it's going to get worse. Programs like this are not a problem, and contribute little if anything to the overall spam problem.

People like "Sleix" from 7/5/03 doesn't know what he/she is talking about. This is a good product with legitimate uses.

You can use your favorite mail program's "Save As" or "Export" function to export the raw source of your messages into a text file. Then use eMailerX to "Bulk Remove" them.

1. Open a Bulk Remove window under the addresses menu.
2. Drag and drop your exported file on it.
3. Edit the list if you need to.
4. And finally, click to remove all occurrences from the main list.

Here's a screen shot of the Bulk Remove window.
