Product Description:

BRU CLI for Mac OS X provides data backup and recovery services on Mac OS X 10.2 and higher systems. BRU CLI (Command Line Interface) supports headless data protection on Apple's Xserve technology via standard telnet or SSH sessions and also supports other Apple OS X platforms as well.
BRU Works with SCSI, Fibre Channel, Firewire, and USB tape drives and supports SCSI and Fibre Channel tape libraries. BRU is also compatible with removable disks and disk-based archive files.

What's new in this version:

  • Fixed a memory leak in the handling of resource forks
  • Undated the /bin/incbru script to handle command strings containing quoted special characters and spaces
  • added now verbosity mode - 9 v's. Similar to 10 v output, but only prints 6 fields and the values are decimal instead of hex for easier manipulation by humans:

    VL:c|90934|1|120448|10737|/Applications/Address Book.app/Contents/MacOS/Address Book

    Fields are:

1: Verbosity Line - create mode
2: Current position in the archive
      3: archive volume number
      4: current file size
5: QFA, or block position, on the tape
      6: File name/path
