The solution to the "delete resource fork" problem on Intel machines is to install Grim Ripper. Works fine. MacBook Pro, OSX 10.5.7

I used QuickImage almost daily till I switched to an Intel machine. Now, as you all probably know, it doesn't work for me. I'm very unhappy.

Developer's email address bounces. Maybe they're out of business?

I was using it to delete resource forks. Anyone know of a suitable replacement?

QuickImageCM CommentaryFile Buddy is the answer for 10.5.2 on Intel Macs - Version: 2.4, 3/12/2008 10:49PM PST

Razzledazzle
File Buddy will give you a contextual menu that includes icons also Symbolic Icons and Symbolic Links. It will also do a great number of other things like remove duplicate files and let you clean your system of orphaned files and so many other things not related to Quick image. It is not freeware and is somewhat expensive but is the best way and the only way I know of to get a contextual menu including the addition of icons to files.I might add that on 10.5.2 on all my Macs a G5 as well as 3 PowerbookG4s and an iMac all PPC the QuickimageCM plug in works. It does not work on my MacbookAir which of course is Intel. File Buddy will permit you to license a notebook and a desktop. The cost is $39 but well worth it as I really missed Quick ImageCM on my Macbook Air.
