a combination of MidiKeys and SimpleSynth is much better - and completely free.

I played around with this at one time but didn't take it too seriously. Now with GarageBand I think the development put into this isn't going to show much further progress. Could be wrong.

So useless and bad it's hardly even worth writing a bad review about. Horrible UI, very bad keymapping, can't hold a key, accidently reaching a key not mapped to a tone switches the octave to 1, because you can't deselect the frickin' text field, etc etc etc... I'm sure I could throw something *better* together in RB in less than a day.
