Same old scam with a new twist. It is not really shareware and free. It costs $20. The demo version has so many restrictions you can't even try any of the games. You are basically limited to screen shots.

The new twist is even if you want to pay for it, it won't let you. No matter what you put in for an address and zip, it says you are wrong, and the PayPal link doesn't work. (I tried this address, (my father-in-laws), then mine and then our condo). Even though it wouldn't complete, it has generated lots of spam. I guess I'll be getting lots of junkmail. I used "solitaire" as my first name so I can tell. (Would you trust these folks with your credit card?)

I downloaded "Wizz Solitaire". It is really free and my father-in-law loves it.

Solitaire Plus! ReviewDecent, at best - Version: 1.2, 9/4/2006 07:10AM PST

This is certainly a fun collection of solitaire games, but gameplay and graphics aren't up to par with some other collections out there (notably Solitaire Forever). Some of the commands seem counterintutive (why does starting a new game ask me if I want to quit?), and the demo warning is a bit annoying.

It could use a bit of work, but would be fine if it were free. I'm just not sure it's worth $20 when there are other, better paid programs out there.

Beautifully polished interface, amazing selection of card games, top notch support. This software only gets better with each update (and it's updated quite frequently). Also, FreeCell deals match the Microsoft WinXP version -- nice touch. It doesn't get any better than this on any OS.

The comments below are totally out of date (except for "gsspeace," who neglected to read the price in the VersionTracker info). This is the Cadillac (Lexus? Mercedes?) of solitaire software for the Mac, and I've been enjoying it for more than a year. Michael McCulloch, the developer, responds promptly to questions. Give it a try! (I have no relationship with McCulloch or his company.)

I'm verrry new to versiontracker so my comment may reflect more on me than on versiontracker or this game. There was no hint that there isa $19.xx price to pay if I decided to order the "real" Solitaire Plus! and not just download the demo version.
I think that's deceptive marketing, and I don't appreciate it.

Sure all the games aren't finished yet, but the ones that are finished work flawlessly. In addition, you can drag cards up or down and they will snap to the next available space, which is really a nice feature.

to rate this when more games are available. The interface is pretty nice. The apps screen sometimes moves when the mouse is tracked thru it. I think it will be a fairly decent program when the games are added. It should also be more clearly stated that at this time there is only one playable game. It is Alpha guys give it some time.
